Akin originates from Turkey and in 2018 graduated from the University College of Osteopathy with a Masters in Osteopathy. From a young age, he knew he wanted to be an osteopath having been treated by one following several injuries after a horse riding incident. Additionally, he has many years experience in sports massage, medical acupuncture/dry needling, Kinesio and active taping which he can use to enhance his osteopathic treatments. Akin always aims to provide therapy with both enthusiasm and professionalism in an effort to encourage wellness in all his patients. Languages: English & Turkish.
Louise’s treatment approach is patient-centered and aims to integrate your goals and priorities into a taliored treatment plan that will enhance your capacity to adapt and recover. Having worked as a personal trainer for over 12 years she thrives on empowering her patients to make healthy lifestyle choices and guide them in preventative steps to achieve their goals for future health. Louise works at our Chigwell Clinic on Wednesday and Saturdays.
Emily Seymour-Perry
Emily is a highly motivated physiotherapist with a First-Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Birmingham. Her broad clinical experience spans musculoskeletal outpatients, trauma and orthopaedics, respiratory and intensive care, and paediatric neuro-rehabilitation — giving her a comprehensive understanding of patient care across all age groups and abilities.
At Spine Plus, Emily brings a strong evidence-based approach to injury assessment and rehabilitation, with particular interest in accelerated ACL recovery, post-operative rehabilitation, and spinal and shoulder conditions. She combines manual therapy and exercise prescription with clear, empathetic communication to ensure patients feel supported and empowered throughout their recovery journey.
Outside of clinical practice, Emily has competed at elite-pathway netball for franchises including Severn Stars, Wasps, and London Pulse. This background underpins her passion for sports performance, injury prevention, and strength and conditioning, which she also channels into her work as a qualified netball coach and sports massage therapist.
Emily’s patients describe her as approachable, organised, and dedicated — qualities that make her a valued addition to the Spine Plus team.

What treatments do you offer for back pain, sciatica, and trapped nerves?
We offfer a multidisciplinary approach with the exact treatment per session including often including a combination of osteopathic hands on treatment, spinal decompression, laser or shockwave therapy, together with expert advice and exercise rehab.
So do you just treat back and neck pain conditions?
No! we treat all muscle and joint problems from head to toe. That's part of Spine "PLUS" bit of our name. We're experts in spine problem + everything else!
Do I need a GP referral or MRI scan before I can book an appointment?
Not at all, most of our patient self refer. Just give us a call and book in!
What should I expect on my first visit, and how quickly can I get seen?
During your initial appointment you will be asked some questions about your issue, as well as your past medical history. We'll then carry out a comprehensive examination including orthopaedic and neurological tests (e.g. testing your reflexes). The findings will all be explained to you and in most cases treatment will start at your first session (when you book for a full 60 minute session).
