The main focus of this massage is on the shoulder, trunk and spinal muscles that are used in golf. Particular attention is also paid to loosening tension in muscles of the forearm that can cause “Medial Epicondylitis” (Golfer’s Elbow*). In addition gentle twisting type stretches are used to promote symmetry of movement and flexibility throughout all levels of the spine, ideal if you want to improve your golf swing !
* We also offer a very similar massage routine aimed at racket sport players which can be used to help prevent conditions such as lateral epicondylitis (“Tennis elbow”)
